Community & Operations Manager
Auggie is the most trusted platform for parents to connect, share recommendations, and learn from experts. Through our app, parents can join live chats, shop vetted products, and attend virtual events led by leading service providers and brands. We’re a small but mighty team and we just launched our flagship product (download it here!).
We’re looking for a Community & Operations Manager that will work directly with our Founder + CEO to spark meaningful conversations, build trust with parents, and keep our virtual events and community operations running smoothly. If you’re someone who loves starting conversations, chatting with parents, sharing recommendations, making people feel seen, and keeping everything humming behind the scenes — we’d love to meet you.
What You’ll Be Doing
💬 Community Engagement & Management
Keep conversations warm, active, and thoughtful in Auggie’s in-app community — using prompts, replies, and real-time listening to spark engagement at all hours
Surface timely parenting topics, trends, and everyday wins — and weave them into the community in ways that feel relevant and natural
Build meaningful 1:1 relationships with parents in the community, listening closely to their needs, and helping them feel seen, supported, and celebrated
Moderate virtual events with confidence and warmth, and design a scalable moderation system using trusted community members
Work closely with the leadership team to use engagement data and community feedback to guide improvements, inform content, and deepen connection
🎤 Virtual Event Operations & Communications
Coordinate the logistics for Auggie’s virtual events — from scheduling and prep to follow-up and wrap-up
Act as the main point of contact for expert speakers and brand partners
Ensure all promotional materials and prep documents are created and shared on time
Support post-event tasks like recaps, video uploads, and partner follow-ups
Keep operations running smoothly, with nothing falling through the cracks
🛠 General Team Support
Pitch in across our lean, nimble team — whether it’s testing a new feature, coordinating a partner launch, or jumping into customer support
Share product feedback and ideas that could better serve and delight our parent community
Support outreach to potential brand partners, service providers, and event hosts
Keep our internal tools and resources (like product recommendations and guides) organized, up-to-date, and easy to navigate
What We’re Looking For
✅ 3–6+ years of experience in community management, event operations, or partnerships
✅ A lifetime of experience as the person people turn to for quick, reliable recommendations
✅ Deep understanding of the parenting space — you’re tuned into the conversations, brands, and needs that matter
✅ Highly process-oriented and detail-obsessed — your checklists have checklists
✅ A warm, clear communicator who builds strong relationships easily
