Keep customer training accurate by reviewing the entire learning task when product behaviour changes, rather than updating isolated screenshots. Track connected objectives, explanations, practice and assessment criteria. Give each asset an owner, prioritise changes that mislead or block learners, and verify that the revised route still supports the capability it promises.

A lesson can look current while teaching a decision customers no longer need to make. Maintenance becomes more useful when the team asks how the work has changed before deciding which files need editing.

Map the learning assets behind each customer task

Start with a task the training supports and list the materials involved in learning it. Include the objective, explanation, demonstration, sample information, practice instructions and any assessment. These elements may live in different places, but learners experience them as parts of one promise about what they should be able to do.
