Community Engagement Lead
Long Angle is a rapidly growing private community for very high net worth (VHNW) entrepreneurs and executives. We’re seeking a thoughtful and strategic Community Engagement Manager to lead our efforts in fostering meaningful member experiences and deepening community connection. This role is ideal for someone who excels at building processes, programs, and experiences that drive engagement, satisfaction, and long-term member retention — with a strong grasp of data, product collaboration, and community dynamics.
As our Community Engagement Lead, you'll be responsible for the strategic direction and operational excellence of our community experience. You'll manage all aspects of member engagement, from platform moderation and user support to virtual and in-person events, while driving measurable improvements in member satisfaction, retention, and platform participation.
Key responsibilities:
Strategic Vision & Prioritization: Establish the strategic vision for member engagement, determining how engagement initiatives drive business outcomes, member value creation, and platform growth, while prioritizing activities and features that will have the greatest impact on member satisfaction and business objectives
Measurement & ROI Framework: Develop comprehensive measurement systems for engagement success, including NPS improvement, churn reduction, and increased platform participation per user, and quantify the ROI of engagement initiatives and their contribution to member acquisition, retention, and revenue growth
Engagement Feature Development: Collaborate with teams to develop platform features that increase member participation and community value, including hands-on testing
Event Programming & Delivery: Hands-on planning and execution of virtual events, webinars, member challenges, and other engagement activities, including logistics coordination, content development, and post-event follow-up to maximize participation and impact
Member Journey Optimization: Design, optimize, and implement the end-to-end member experience from onboarding through long-term engagement
Community Health Monitoring: Track and analyze community health metrics, identifying trends and proactively addressing potential issues
Metrics Management: Own and improve key engagement metrics including NPS, churn rates, and platform participation per member, including direct analysis, reporting, and implementation of improvement initiatives
Requirements:
5+ years of product management experience, preferably in community platforms, SaaS, premium membership organizations, or with high net worth individuals
Proven track record of driving measurable improvements in user engagement metrics
Experience with community management, moderation policies, and maintaining high-quality user environments
Strong analytical skills with experience using data to drive strategic decisions and measure ROI
Background in event programming and member experience optimization
Preferred experience serving high-net-worth or premium customer segments
Benefits package:
The salary will be commensurate with experience and may vary based on a range of factors including skills, relevant work experience, scope, and other organizational needs.
In addition to base salary, this role is also eligible to participate in the following benefit and perquisite plans:
Salary range: $100,000 - $140,000
