About Wizz
Wizz is a fast-growing social app designed for young people to meet and connect in a safe, fun, and authentic way. With over 3 million monthly active users in the US and UK, Wizz helps Gen Z spark real conversations — no followers, no likes, just people.
We’re now looking for an organized, outgoing, and creative Community Coordinator to bring the Wizz community to life through a one-time promotional event in Los Angeles.
What You’ll Do
Plan and coordinate a one-night event to introduce Wizz to university students in LA
Work with local venues (bars, rooftops, etc.) to create an experience students will love
Set up fun, low-barrier incentives for attendees to download and try the app
Lead marketing efforts to gather ~50 guests from the UCLA and USC areas
Manage logistics, budget, and communication with all partners
Collaborate with the Wizz team to activate the app during the event (games, challenges, etc.)
Report on key outcomes: attendance, engagement, and app downloads
Who You Are
You’ve organized events for students or young adults (bonus if it was in LA)
You know the UCLA/USC social scene like the back of your hand
Comfortable working solo and taking ownership of a project from A to Z
Excellent communication, time management, and networking skills
Bonus: Experience with community building, sororities/fraternities, or brand activations
You’re naturally in tune with what makes a night out fun and memorable
