Mercor is Recruiting Experienced Community Association Managers to Collaborate on AI Research Projects
Are you an experienced Community Association Manager (CAM) with a deep understanding of HOA/COA governance, board relations, and community operations? Mercor is partnering with top-tier AI research labs to develop cutting-edge AI models—and we need your expertise.
In this fully remote, flexible role, you’ll contribute your operational and governance experience to help train and evaluate advanced AI systems by crafting realistic community management scenarios, board interactions, and compliance-driven workflows.
What We’re Looking For:
We're seeking seasoned Community Association Management professionals with:
4+ years of full-time experience managing residential or mixed-use communities under HOA/COA structures
Strong experience in board coordination, rule enforcement, budgeting, vendor management, and community communications
A working knowledge of governing documents, architectural review procedures, violation protocols, and reserve studies
Familiarity with association management software and tools such as Buildium, AppFolio, Vantaca, or TOPS [ONE]
Experience preparing for or attending board meetings, annual meetings, and compliance hearings
What You’ll Do:
Create realistic CAM scenarios such as resolving resident disputes, preparing board packets, or managing architectural review requests
Design prompts simulating common tasks like preparing annual budgets, tracking violations, enforcing community rules, or managing special assessments
Help AI researchers understand association-specific terminology, community documentation, board protocols, and operational workflows
Review and refine AI-generated outputs to ensure accuracy, professional tone, and alignment with CAM best practices
