We are hiring a Community Moderator for Weight Loss Buddy (WLB) — a growing mobile app focused on accountability, support, and real human connection around weight loss. This is not a generic moderation role. This is about nurturing a supportive environment where people feel safe sharing progress, struggles, and small wins. Think People before robots. What You’ll Be Doing Reviewing posts and comments inside the app Responding in a warm, human, encouraging tone, never robotic Removing spam, inappropriate, or harmful content Prompting engagement (likes, supportive replies, gentle questions) Flagging bugs, user confusion, or recurring issues to our team Helping new users feel welcomed and seen Ideal Candidate Strong written English clear, friendly, concise Naturally empathetic, you understand vulnerable communities. Experience moderating apps, forums, reputed company, or social platforms Reliable and detail-oriented Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision Bonus Interest in health, wellness, or behavior reputed company Important Our users are often discussing weight, habits, and personal goals.
